Word from the State House is that the latest attempt at Government Restructuring has cleared another hurddle on its way to the eager Gov. Sanford.
The House Judiciary Committee passed restructuring legislation Tuesday that would move segments of the B&CB to the schnazzy Department of Administration (DOA - not dead on arrival, but then again it's South Carolina Government) in the Governor’s Cabinet. The Bill's next stop is the Full House.
If it survives Sanford's Republican enemies in the House it moves to the Senate.
This should be interesting to follow.
