Leonardo"s Notebook by Mattheus Mei

I have been impressed with the urgency of doing. Knowing is not enough; we must apply. Being willing is not enough; we must do.

The Vatican's Ten Commandments of the Environment

The Vatican used the opportunity of the first ever Milan Festival for the Environment to issue 10 new commandments in support of the post-modern environmental movement (which excludes environmentalism as a religion: i.e. PETA, Greenpeace, and is quite a bit more pragmatic). I can't find a list of them yet which means it's not been translated from the Italian just yet.
This of course comes after last years proclamation of the 10 Commandments for Driving, and earlier this years expansion of the seven deadlies to include some new ones.
I wonder how long it'll take the MSM to pick this one up...

Oh for heaven's sake, that expansion of the Seven Deadlies was one of the silliest media distortions of a rather innocuous interview which emphasized (rightly) the idea of social sin, or social consequences of sin (not a new concept!) as well as proper stewardship of creation.
