I have been impressed with the urgency of doing. Knowing is not enough; we must apply. Being willing is not enough; we must do.

A picture is worth a 1000 words...

The question is, what words?

From the Scranton Times-Tribune via AmP. This was the Newspapers response to a strongly worded pastoral letter by Bishop Martino to the parishes of the diocese on Respect Life Sunday.

The question is, is it anti-catholic propaganda as some suggest? Or acerbically crafted political satire?

I want to know your thoughts....

I assumed the cartoon depicted an Episcopalian. Is that anti-catholic of me? Or does that just prove that people need to get over themselves?

Whatever your personal stance, it's a fact that Christian church (Catholic and catholic) is involving itself in the political issues of the day, particularly with respect to the issue of abortion, and perhaps equally, The Sanctity of Marriage.

The cartoon is political, and on point in describing the GOP's strategic use of these wedge issues to keep Christians voting for the Republican ticket.
