It's interesting to note that noone has picked up on the sermons of Sarah Palin's pastor who said last August 17, while Ms. Palin was in attendance
"Judgment is very real and we see it played out on the pages of the newspapers and on the television. It's very real. When [Brickner's son] was in Jerusalem he was there to witness some of that judgment, some of that conflict, when a Palestinian from East Jerusalem took a bulldozer and went plowing through a score of cars, killing numbers of people. Judgment — you can't miss it."
It's hard to know if Jabba the Hagee would agree with that statement or not, as Pro-Israel as he is, his ultimate goal is much like Brickner's to see the Jews convert so that they don't spend eternity in hell.
The point is though that we can get all excited and worked up over a preacher's context being ripped to shreds when he says a phrase (rightly or wrongly) God Damn America, but when it comes from an ultra conservative person on the right - it's simply being prophetic and speaking the truth. I smell a double standard....
