For proof just look at the Evangelical response to Bristol Palin's pregnancy by focusing on the decision to keep the baby (which is fantastic!) but not addressing the morality of pre-marital sex, and emphatically ignoring that - something which is unheard of in the evangelical world.
This is made evident by the presence of Levi on the Tarmac with the Palin family meeting McCain. I wonder what those few private words between McCain and he were... perhaps needed words of comfort and apology for putting him in the spot light, or chastisement for doing something 5 months ago and putting it on McCain's shoulders... we'll probably never know.
