I have been impressed with the urgency of doing. Knowing is not enough; we must apply. Being willing is not enough; we must do.

Your Republican VP Nominee: Tim Pawlenty

Folks, Tim Pawlenty is the Republican Nominee for Vice President with John McCain. If you saw his performance tonight on Larry King Live, he assumed the mantle of Dick Cheney and Karl Rove combined. He said that Obama "lost" the forum from Saddleback Church because he didn't have a teleprompter and compared him to a vapid celebrity because he didn't give the proverbial black and white answers, but because he was thoughtful and nuanced and admitted complexity to such problems as Abortion, "Evil" and the disparities between rich and wealthy.

Tim Pawlenty is the unrepentant attack dog that McCain has thus far been lacking without looking bad and will serve the ticket as the Republican Maleficence. Congratulations Sen. McCain on picking. Joe McCain and Lindsey Graham can now move aside and serve as general surrogates as opposed to the Sentinels they've attempted to be thus far.

I think that talking heads aside that David Brody had it right when he said that Obama was coalescing the non-evangelical Christian Audience, while McCain was just shoring up a still skeptical base.

Speaking of David Brody, did anyone read his nuanced defense of Obama and refutation of the infanticide smear spreading amongst evangelical circles: "Just remember, everything you read on the Internet isn’t always true!" I'm sure Pat Robertson's panties are in a wad.
