Leonardo"s Notebook by Mattheus Mei

I have been impressed with the urgency of doing. Knowing is not enough; we must apply. Being willing is not enough; we must do.

Sieg Heil

It's been a while sense I've read an cultocentric screed. After all, I thought cultocentrism went out of style with national socialism. But cultocentrics have now found a new way to wage their war for the world without guns (for now). Ever since we entered the post-modern era, an era ushered in at the bloody hands of cultocentrics, the world has been trying to deal with the horrors of the preceding epoch of modernity.

Peoples, countries, entire civilizations heaped themselves upon the rest of the world whether it was for God (ideology) or Country (imperialism) or out of a misplaced sense of altruism (a combo of the former) and the collective conscience of humanity has realized that that was wrong, that the management of the world is not specifically the white man's burden, but something that is shared by all peoples and cultures.

And while western civilization has brought the world many great fruits such as Democracy, Liberalism, Constitutionalism, Christianity, Capitalism as well as the many artisans and architects who's works helped establish and bolster such ideas and philosophies - we must learn to embrace fully these ideologies of human dignity that we espouse and honour our ancestors with founding.

The best and most assured way of doing such is not only to recognize and embrace ourselves but to work to understand and celebrate others.
