Leonardo"s Notebook by Mattheus Mei

I have been impressed with the urgency of doing. Knowing is not enough; we must apply. Being willing is not enough; we must do.

Ron Paul and Barney Frank agree...

...that simple possession shouldn't be a crime. To quote Mr. Frank,

"I don't think it is the government's business to tell you how to spend your leisure time."

The DEA responded by saying "Smoked marijuana has not withstood the rigors of science -- it is not medicine and it is not safe," the DEA states on its Web site. "Legalization of marijuana, no matter how it begins, will come at the expense of our children and public safety. It will create dependency and treatment issues, and open the door to use of other drugs, impaired health, delinquent behavior, and drugged drivers."

The same statements apply to Tobacco which is what makes the arguments against Marijuana so silly.
