Asia is being battered this week again after a tropical cyclone smashed into Indochina leaving upwards of 1 million Burmese people dead in its wake this past week.
Last night a quake with a 7.9 magnitude struck the Chinese mainland and has left upwards of 10,000 dead (so far) and over 100,000 injured with many thousands of buildings destroyed.
Both incidents reveal with unnerving clarity the weakness of both state's governments - as the Myanmar Junta intentionally delays relief efforts and the Chinese communist government are unable to cope with the scale and severity of the quake in the wake of such unbridled destruction.
