Finally!!! I managed to work around the issue. I've been getting the error message every time I've tried to edit a post that's already been published or access my lists of published posts and drafts.
To fix it, I went to permissions and added another e-mail (my "shadow" e-mail) that I control to the list of acceptable authors, I then accepted that invitation.
From my original profile I made the "shadow profile" an administrator, then deleted my original profile from having access to the blog.
This immediately freed it up.
Granted I'm now using my "Shadow Profile" and don't know what to expect if I attempt to reverse the process to see if somehow I could get the "rights" back for the original profile... I'm not going to try that now. Oh well, at least it's working now!!!! And I don't mind using the Shadow Profile Mattheus Mei (Doppelgänger).
At least (for now) I won't be using that wordpress blog that I've reserved as a back up in case the blogger SNAFUs continued.

damnit! The edit appeared again folks, and my work around did not work! I've submitted a request to the suggested "form," and have scoured the Google Help Groups and the only positive feedback for this issue was from a Google Employee who said to "clear your cache and cookies." I've tried that Google employee Gatsby, and it's been to no avail.
It looks like I'm not the only one with a problem with this error, this guy has written an open letter to the "non existent" blogger staff, about the stupidity of the error message and the incredible lack of support in resolving what seems to be a ridiculous non-issue.
Do we have any takers on how to fix this problem? Is anyone else having this problem, don't tell me that Evan and I are the only ones with this problem!!!
