I love the mixture of Sacred and Contemporary Music during the incredible Communion. I must say all the music, whether Latin (lengua), Latin (mezzo-american), English, Multi-lingual, whatever has been performed with the influence of soul/jazz/and rock-n-roll - forms of music originating in the American South, very intriguing. I love it! I hope the Pope does too!
Speaking of the music, I was watching and thought I recognized the Cantor - sure enough, it's a friend of Gashwin's that I met in DC some time ago - wow I'm a third class relic now, I suppose - isn't that how it works? Check it out here.

Well, he'll have to be canonized first. Which normally happens after death. And I, for one, hope that he's serving in the Vineyard for a long time to come ... :)
