Interesting article from The State says that a new bill introduced into the State Senate may make South Carolina's official colour blue. This despite the 'Redness' of the Palmetto State's politics:
COLUMBIA, S.C. --It's hard to find a redder state than South Carolina when it comes to politics, but if a 9-year-old has her way, blue will always be the state's true color.
Lauren Cunningham wants indigo blue to be named the state's official color. That's the background color on the state flag. Indigo cultivation was one of the state's first cash crops.
A legitimate expectation for our state, I doubt this is a portence though for the future of Palmetto Politics.
