Yesterday morning I got up and decided I was going to try my hand at making Eggs Benedict. I've never made Hollandaise sauce, but I thought I'd give it a try. So I pulled out my fancy Christmas Present from my folks - a Paula Dean egg poacher and toaster all in one, and fired up the stove to make the sauce. It was all semi-homemade of course, Sandra Lee would no doubt be proud. The end result was awesome, and I added as a side a nice leafy salad with a homemade balsamic vinaigrette. I wanted to post this yesterday but my phone died and I was to lazy to do it yesterday after it recharged. Bon Appetit!
All this as the Pope baptized 13 infants Sunday on the Feast of the Baptism of our Lord. Deus Gratias!

Yummers -- one of my favorite breakfasts, but one I seldom remember to try. I'll have to see about recitifying that soon.
might I recommend getting the machine that I have, the Paula Dean muffin toaster and egg poacher all in one, or come over one weekend morning for brunch!!!!
