Leonardo"s Notebook by Mattheus Mei

I have been impressed with the urgency of doing. Knowing is not enough; we must apply. Being willing is not enough; we must do.

Internet Suicide?

Is that what you would call it when you delete yourself from a website? Or would the more appropriate appellation be - Web-Master Assisted Deletion. I took final steps yesterday to delete myself from MySpace. There is no more Mattheus Mei on that Internet Networking Site. Interestingly enough you can at least find evidence that I existed on MySpace via Google just type in Mattheus Mei, it still registers my page and also it registers a comment I made on a drag queens wall as the first two returns, only after that does it register the blog... have a try and go figure.

I show up at the top when you Google St. Elizabeth Cayce. Makes me feel sorry for the Russian Orthodox Church (St. Elizabeth the New Martyr) in Cayce that had to settle for 3rd place (or not at all if you use quotes.)

BTW: Your "suicide" promoted Slim's Driver to my top friend slot. I don't know if he's up to the responsibility. There really wasn't time for a proper internship.

you know death, even internet death can be sudden. It begs the question are any of us every really ready to assume the mantle when the time comes? Here's a health to the passing of the previous Mattheus Mei and best of wishes to Slim's Driver.

That does kind of stink for the actual Church, but then again, they should have googled the name first to see if the monopoly was there before choosing that name. :)

well we all know just how scary unintentional tracks left at Google can be. It's time we need to relearn the important art of forgetting. Interesting article that.
