Everyone by now has read the NYTimes article and or Googled "Bacon Explosion" to know that this dish is a heart attack waiting to happen. Well just in time for the Super Bowl I constructed one last night and will grill it this afternoon just in time for the big game.
And I say all the better to let the meat marinate in the BBQ rub that was used. I can't wait to glaze it with barbecue sauce while its slow roasting.
