I have been impressed with the urgency of doing. Knowing is not enough; we must apply. Being willing is not enough; we must do.

The male gender is in danger and ufortunately for social conservatives it has nothing to do with the gays

The Independent reports that a massive study is set to be released tomorrow correlating information from around the globe - and it all points at one thing -- the male is in danger.

We've all heard about the [odd] reports on chemical birth control - about the evidence that undiluted amounts of female hormones are entering the water systems of the world feminising male fish. Well ortho tri-cyclen move over - you're not alone.

This new study finds that a whole host of at least 400 common, everyday chemicals is feminising the male sex. Across the spectrum of species masculinity is stunted, males are less fertile and there's an exhibition of smaller penises -- gasp, even in Man.

"This research shows that the basic male tool kit is under threat," says Gwynne Lyons, a former government adviser on the health effects of chemicals, who wrote the report.

It seems that while modern chemistry has done much good for society left unchecked processors are releasing larger amounts into the environment with unintended and some argue unforeseeable consequences.

And though the report sees lots of gender bending going on with some hermaphroditism there's no evidence that points to an increase in homosexuality amongst the male species.

And while men around the world may look at their crotches and worriedly wonder - had I not lived in such a chemically charged world would my willy have been bigger? Gay men still beat them out on that too.

In fact as the debate on the origins of the homosexual moves further along - it appears that most research indicates that while there is a potential genetic component, most homosexual men have an inordinate increase in testosterone in their systems - both as adults and while they're in the womb. [Aside: My unscientific opinion is a combonation of both]

And as Salon.com pointed out in an article in 1999 -- according to the immense research of Dr. Kinsey from 1938-1963 of his studies - the gays were more likely to have the larger members.

"there's an exhibition of smaller penises -- gasp, even in men."

That's pretty scary news if you ask me. Let me ask my girlfriend if her penis is getting smaller, ok?

ha ha! We've corrected the grammatical error. Hopefully no one will read into it that women have penises
