I have been impressed with the urgency of doing. Knowing is not enough; we must apply. Being willing is not enough; we must do.

Reaching across the aisle against Climate Change

While many say the debate is still open on climate change, some prominent American Politicos have joined forces under the direction of Al Gore to creat promo's for Gore's foundation wecansolveit.org.

Discovered this after reading a CNN ticker on how Gore refuses to be Boss Tweed in the upcoming Democratic Convention. It lead me to this politico article:

Pat Robertson and Al Sharpton just filmed an ad for the We Campaign, sitting on a couch on the beach. In the ad, now being produced, they say that while they may not agree on many things, they do agree that they have to work to save the planet. A
future couple in the “strange bedfellows” or "unlikely alliances” spots will be recorded soon: Democratic House Speaker Nancy Pelosi and Republican former House Speaker Newt Gingrich. The campaign aims to harness the growing awareness of the climate crisis and turn it into one of the top issues on which voters make decisions.

What an interesting concept - two people with lots of credibility from the left and right, Nancy and Newt along with two other people with nominal influence from left and right Al and Pat doing spots to raise awareness for Global Warming and Climate Change. What's next, Obama and McCain? (although that'd be a pretty good one!)
