From The StateThat's part of the ole Alma Mater. Cheraw High Braves came to Columbia today looking for their 2nd straight State Championship, this year against Upper State Champs Chapman. We nailed them 58-14. Chapman touchdowns were scored late in the 1st quarter and late in the 4th quarter, while Cheraw seemed to score every time they had possession. It was beautiful. I remarked to my cousin it would have been nice to see Chapman stuck with 7 and Cheraw climb over 70 (sound un-sportsman like eh? Well we're a small school and people really don't give us enough credit). But in the end Coach Johnny White showed mercy.
